So it's 2010 and it's the time for a new season.... new opportunities and new promises.

I had hoped to be starting 2010 with a new real sponsor that was actually going to help me play a lot overseas both Asia and the UK but it didn't come to be hopefully can come to fruition next year.  In the current economy finding a good sponsor definitely won't be easy but it can be done.  Last year I was able to play a lot as airfares to the UK were cheap conisdering but that is not the case this year at all!! They are in fact 50% higher then the same time last year.

So what does that mean?  Less trips over to the UK.  I have 3 goals this year 1) to be back in the PDC World Championships, 2) Play in Asia 3 Times (hope twice in Japan) 3) get back into the UK Open Finals.

Now those of you that understand the level of play in the PDC may say two of those will be very difficult if not playing in the UK as much? Yes this is true but :) if I am better prepared both skill and mentally I should do well in the UK Open Qualifiers again (with some luck of the draws).  I made it last year by playing the minimum amount and aspire to do the same this year.  The World Championships? Well I am planning to get one of the North America spots back :)  The PDC has yet to annouce how all that will take place but I will be much more prepared this year versus last.  Hence why I took the last few months off, last year I was burnt out from playing/travelling too much so this year I am going with less is more.  I am in way better shape, have a way better mental control and my private life is much more stable.

I am back throwing, not up to the time I want yet but the quality is there and everytime I show up to play it is steps above the last showing.  I am in fact way ahead of where I thought I would be.  I was hoping to go to Gibraltar as it was my FAVORITE stop on the PDC tour last year but it is way too expensive this year :(  I am looking for the end of Feb to be my first trip over and do ten days then re-evaluate where I am at in the UK Open standings.  This means I will actually play in the USA this year, last year I only did a couple shoots so I am looking at my time and plan to be at the good ones.  I have yet to decide what I will in regards to soft tip here in the USA, I will be going to Japan for the Asia Bullshooter and that promises to be a great trip.

Well time for me to start throwing and head to the gym.....
