Next Stop? Philippines and the WORLD Final

Well... it is just days away from the next trip that includes a stop in the Philippines to play the WDF double singles event, The Philippines International Darts Open(steel) ,being sponsored by the legendary Boxing World Champion Manny Pacquiao. After playing the first weekend there I am going up to visit another area of the Philippines to practice with TEAM ONE from the Philippines to get ready for the WORLD FINAL held in Hong Kong Dec 18th.

If you have not figured it out by now, the Philippines is quickly becoming the #1 place to crank out top dart players. They have it down to a science and put a lot of work into creating top players.... IDF WORLD CUP ENDS

Well I have a little time to kill before heading to the airport so I figure do a update then I will practice a bit before making the 16hr journey home. First off congratulations to Team USA for their exciting last game victory over Team Japan to take home the WORLD CUP title. Team Japan had taken us (Canada) out in the top 8 and they showed again in the finals why Japan is no joke when it come to darts. Team USA was not be denied though and a great display in the deciding game showed why they were the deserving champions.

Pro Cricket singles did turn out to be a better event for me as I made it to the final 3 taking 3rd after being defeated by the future champion PAUL LIM in the finals of the winners side then I was overcome by a great player from Crotia to get back to the final. Paul continues to show why he is definitely a all time great of the sport.
